Our clinical director, Kathy Broady, LMSW-ACP,
has had nearly twenty years of direct clinical
contact with survivors of abuse and their
significant support people. She is a specialist
in the areas of dissociative disorders,
post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD),
depression, bipolar, and anxiety disorders.
Her experience involves a tapestry of clinical
work as a private practice psychotherapist,
as a therapist on an inpatient trauma specialty
unit, as a clinical social worker for residential
treatment centers for traumatized adolescents,
and as a consultant for other mental health
practitioners who are learning to work with
trauma survivors. She has provided individual,
couples, family, and group therapy about
the specific issues of abuse for adults,
teenagers, and children. She is currently
licensed in the state of Texas as a LMSW-ACP
(Licensed Master of Social Work - Advanced
Clinical Practitioner).
