I am very pleased to announce the arrival of AbuseConsultants.com.

First, let me introduce myself and explain why I am writing to you. I am a social worker / therapist that has worked intensely in the fields of trauma and dissociation for twenty years. Over the past year, a group of kind souls and I together have created and developed an online therapeutic resource for abuse survivors and their supportive loved ones. We have emphasized the creative sides of the healing process by including comfort music, creative writings, artwork, gentle colors, and beautiful site graphics.

This site, AbuseConsultants.com, is specifically designed to be an online treatment and support resource for folks who struggle with the painful, negative effects of severe trauma. It is geared to assist with trauma-related issues such as Sexual Abuse/CSA, DID/MPD, PTSD, Depression, Bipolar, Anxiety, SRA, and Self Injury/SI. Survivors, their loved ones, professional therapists, and lay-counselors can all find valuable support and information they need to manage such difficult issues.

After more than a year of preparation, research, and development, this website is now available online. We have been honored with enormous survivor response and hope that you will view the dozens of survivor writings and survivor artworks that have been posted. We also have surveys available and invite your comments as ways to express your opinion about a variety of related topics. We have a great respect for survivors and feel honored to provide an opportunity for survivors to speak out freely and safely.

AbuseConsultants.com already has hundreds of pages of free therapeutic information available at this time, and we are adding and expanding on a regular basis. To further describe what is happening on this ever-changing site, we will soon send you our complimentary newsletter. Enjoy!
