Writing Poetry,
short stories, and narratives are beautiful
and highly expressive forms of creative writing.
They are as therapeutic to write as they are
to read. We highly encourage you to write
about your experiences as a way to process
and heal. The more you can write, the more
at peace you are with your life, your self,
and your system.
Have
you written something that could be helpful
to others? Would “telling without telling”
be of value to you? If you have something
you need to say or write, but want to stay
safely anonymous, this is a safe place to
show your writings.
We
would like to post a variety of creative writings
as an encouragement and support to other survivors,
and we are currently accepting new submissions
for creative writings to post on these pages.
Should you have a poem, a story, or any form
of creative writing that you would like to
share to benefit yourself and others, please
refer to the Creative
Writing Submission Form for further information.
Please
note: Writing can be a very powerful tool,
so assess your personal safety and emotional
stability carefully. If you are surprised
or destabilized by the amount of emotionally
charged material that surfaced in your writings,
please get appropriate therapeutic support
as quickly as possible.
To
process the information that surfaces during
any writing excercise, please consider a clinical
consultation.
